This is a beautiful, traditional Chinese carved wood display stand, perfect for elevating large porcelain fishbowls, ceramic planters, or floor vases. It features a rich, hand-rubbed reddish-brown mahohany/rosewood lacquer finish and five hand-carved scrollwork legs. The center cutout provides drainage and ventilation. It dates between the 1960s - 1980s.
It's in very good condition, with light to normal signs of age. The wooden structure is solid, with no loose joints, cracks or deep gouges. It measures 8.5" high and has an outside diameter of 9.5". It will hold any vase or pot base measuring 9" or less. Made in China.
