The base is made of wood, gold leafed with brass feet and a glass dome on top. The butterflies are humanely sourced from farms around the world. This lamp contains two Morpho catenaries butterflies found in Argentina. Two Belenois Calypso butterflies from Cameroon Africa and two Asia Buniae or “great southern white” butterflies commonly found in Peru. See less
