Lv-426 small sconce in patinated cast bronze by william guillon hand sculpted, dated and signed dimensions: d 18 x w 18 x h 42 cm (custom dimensions upon request) materials: patinated cast bronze, porcelain. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Lv-426 is the name of a distant and mysterious planet featured in the alien movie, and it has haunted my imagination since childhood. I have always been drawn to space and the surrealism of science fiction. The strange, organic nightmares of hr giger, the dreamlike visions of moebius, and the desolate beauty of zdzisław beksiński’s dystopian landscapes have all shaped my sensibility and left a lasting impression on my creative universe. This collection is deeply personal to me. It was the very first time i worked with cast bronze and porcelain—materials that have since become central to my language. These pieces mark an important chapter in my journey as an artist. They embody both a nostalgic return to the images that shaped me as a child and a bold step into the future i envisioned for my practice. Because of this, i have a special emotional connection to them. The development process was long and intense, each sculpture taking form through hand-carving in my studio before being cast in bronze at a renowned french foundry. The result is a series of singular objects, each one unique, each one open to custom variations. The porcelain elements were created in limoges, a city celebrated for its historical expertise in ceramic arts. Each lampshade is handcrafted, giving off a soft, organic glow that transforms the space it inhabits. Lv-426 includes horizontal and vertical chandeliers as well as wall sconces. More than lighting fixtures, these pieces feel like remnants from a forgotten world—at once futuristic and ancient, fragile and eternal. They are the first echoes of the artistic mythology i have been building ever since. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
