Designed as part of Ralph Lauren's Mayfair Collection. The chair features a dark ebonized mahogany frame in a gondola form with a rounded back with a broad rolled edge. The frame is punctuated by a continuous nickel finished nailhead tacks running along the seat rail. The front legs are elegantly turned and carved in a barley-twist style, tapering down into polished nickel feet caps. The rear legs are squared and gently splayed. The chair is upholstered throughout in a rich, textured midnight navy woven fabric accented by deep diamond tufting and buttons. The back of the seat is fitted with a polished nickel ring pull. Ralph Lauren maker's tag is present on bottom of chair. Inspired by Hollywood glamour the chair has a lovely profile with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The chair was individually bench made in Italy by artisans with attention to details. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
