This rare, identical set captivates with the striking contrast between sculptural, brutalist ironwork and the delicate elegance of Venetian glass art. The heavy, clear glass shades were crafted using the demanding bullicante technique (controlled, relief-like bubble structures) and infused with a dense, shimmering layer of the finest 24-karat gold dust (avventurina).

While still molten, the glass shades were blown directly into the custom-forged iron cages (Vetro Soffiato Entro Gabbia). This allows the glass to bulge organically and plastically outward, creating a distinctive, geometric honeycomb structure. When switched on, the countless gold particles suspended within the glass reflect the light, creating the deep, warm, and luxurious glow for which Murano glass is renowned.

The symmetry of the pair makes this set ideal for sophisticated lighting in high-end interiors – for example, above a kitchen counter, a long dining table, or as accent lighting.

Excellent vintage condition commensurate with age. The hand-blown glass shades are completely intact and flawless – no cracks, chips, or cracks. The wrought iron displays a beautiful, authentic patina. The original suspension hardware (chains and canopies) is included. The lights are in their unrestored, original condition with the original cable ends from previous installations.
