Its surfaces are enlivened by a refined trellis pattern, the light gliding across the subtle contrasts of the precious woods. The drop-front, adorned with a finely chiseled bronze keyhole escutcheon and fitted with its working key, opens smoothly to reveal a charming interior of five small drawers harmoniously arranged around a central niche, creating an intimate and refined space dedicated to writing and correspondence. The undulating frieze, true to the sinuous aesthetic of the 18th century, conceals an additional drawer embellished with delicately crafted pulls, also featuring a bronze keyhole escutcheon and a working lock, extending the elegance of the piece with a touch of discreet practicality.
