A striking pair of mid-century modern wall sconces produced in czechoslovakia during the 1960s. The design features smooth elongated forms combining opaline milk glass shades with bakelite bodies, creating a refined space age aesthetic characteristic of the period. When illuminated, the glass diffusers provide a warm and pleasant ambient glow while emphasizing the sculptural silhouette. Their versatile and timeless design makes them suitable for a wide range of interiors, from mid-century modern and scandinavian settings to contemporary spaces. The sconces are presented in good original vintage condition and have been professionally rewired with new cabling. Compatible with both european and us electrical systems. Each fixture accommodates one e26 or e27 bulb.
