About the Artist:

Originally from France, Dominique Caron studied fine arts at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux after obtaining her baccalaureate in arts. Her early career was shaped by extensive global travel across North and West Africa—regions that heavily inspired her fascination with the spiritual and structural history of tribal masks.

In 1983, Caron relocated her studio to San Francisco, California, where she integrated her European classical training with the bold, experimental energy of the American West Coast art scene. Over the decades, her highly sought-after abstract expressionist paintings and 3D leather wall sculptures have been widely exhibited in premier contemporary galleries, including the Alliance Française de San Francisco and the Gallery of Modern Masters.
