Vintage italian brass shield-shaped mirror, made in the 1950s-1960s, in the spirit of post-war italian design.
its shield-shaped silhouette is its main attraction. Inspired by the forms of ancient coats of arms and shields, it lends an architectural presence while maintaining a light and elegant line.
the frame consists of a thin brass profile mounted on a wooden backing.
the brass retains its original golden patina, with the nuances and marks left by time, preserving all the charm of the antique material. The original glass has a slightly pitted silvering, characteristic of vintage mirrors and indicative of its age.
the original metal wire is still present at the top of the frame and can be used for hanging. Two hooks with pads have also been added to the back for a more discreet and stable installation.
