The wide plank top is constructed from broad pine boards, warm amber in tone and alive with natural knots, tight grain striations, and the richly textured patina of decades of honest use — a surface no deliberate aging could replicate. The trestle base is held together entirely through exposed wedge-keyed through-tenon joinery: hand-fitted pine tenons locked with solid wedges, requiring no metal hardware whatsoever and remaining completely stable today.

There is a quiet architectural confidence to this table — low, long, and entirely self-sufficient in its construction — that makes it equally at home in a refined contemporary interior, a Japandi-influenced dining room, or a space that simply values honest materials and age. See less
