This original Bubble Lamp® Saucer pendant was designed by George Nelson in 1947 and produced by Modernica in the United States.
The design is based on a lightweight steel wire structure that is hand-coated with a translucent fiberglass polymer, creating the soft and atmospheric illumination for which the Bubble Lamp series is renowned.
This example retains its original Modernica label and remains in very good condition with only minor signs of use. The warm, diffused light and sculptural silhouette make it equally suitable for residential and professional interiors.
