Space age pendant lamp in the shape of a ufo from the 1970s. This lamp is also called the 'bug eye' lamp and was produced by massive.
this lamp is often attributed to the italian designer luigi colani, which is certainly not the case. The design was most likely inspired by the futuro house (1968) by the finnish designer matti suuronen. The lamp was available in 6 different colors and was deservedly a success. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
