With its projecting cornice, gilt brass hardware, and imposing proportions without heaviness, this is a piece of character that fully embraces its era.

materials: solid pitch pine with exceptional grain in honey and caramel tones. Original gilt brass hardware: the handles, keyhole escutcheon, and rosettes are in very good overall condition.

features: this antique sideboard has two drawers in the upper section. The lower section opens with two framed panel doors to reveal a spacious interior with two shelves (not height-adjustable). Sturdy console legs provide stability. The key is decorative, as the lock is no longer functional.

restoration: the piece was gently sanded to remove its old, damaged varnish, then washed and left in its natural wood finish. The drawer slides have been redesigned.
