Manufactured by Smederij Moerman 1997. This table is from the ‘scrab series’ designed in the 1980s and produced up until the end of the 1990s.
Metal plate with forged steel legs (and with its signature gold leaf sheet in the middle).
Idir Mecibah died at the age of 55, in Antwerp Belgium This designer was just getting started and had also just signed a contact with the Belgian top furniture brand Durlet. Most of his furniture is not being produced anymore and is becoming quite collectable.

This specific table was purchased from the first owner who took really good care of it. Stamped & dated to the top. This piece has an attribution mark,
