1995 ceramic cat sculpture by Florida artist, Leslie Wallace-Coon. This feline is loaded with a mischievous personality on full display via a Cheshire Cat smile and rows of distinctive (and sharp) teeth. The rough surface provides texture and the look of fur. And the paws! They really look lethal. Ms. Wallace-Coon is known for her whimsical depictions of both people and animals with a particular interest in Cats and Dogs. Her work has been exhibited in shows and Galleries throughout the Southeastern United States and beyond. Signed and dated at the side of the sculpture and numbered and dated at the interior. From the Atlanta estate of an art collector.
Very good condition. No apparent chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
