An atmospheric coastal landscape inspired by the dunes of Tybee Island, Georgia at sunset. Soft lavender, blush pink, and peach tones illuminate the evening sky while sea oats frame a sandy path leading toward the water beyond.

Painted with a restrained palette and expressive brushwork, the composition captures the quiet beauty of the Georgia coast at day's end. The intimate scale and soothing colors make this work particularly well suited to coastal, contemporary, and traditional interiors.

Kathleen Varadi is a contemporary painter whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions at Telfair Museums, Savannah Hilton Head International Airport Gallery, the New York Academy of Art residency program, and numerous juried exhibitions throughout the United States.

Kathleen Varadi is a contemporary painter whose work explores landscape, atmosphere, and the evolving concept of the sublime in contemporary life. She earned her B.F.A. in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design and pursued graduate studies as an M.F.A. candidate at Georgia Southern University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions at Telfair Museums, Savannah Hilton Head International Airport Gallery, the New York Academy of Art Summer Residency Program, LaGrange Art Museum, and numerous juried exhibitions throughout the United States. Varadi's paintings are held in private collections and have received recognition from organizations including SECAC, the Boynes Emerging Artist Award, and the Clayton Art Faire. See less
