This is a super RARE, Mid Century Ceramic Goblet Floor Planter.
This is a large scale piece of Mid Century pottery greatness. Not only is it unique it is a beautiful piece of art, a conversation piece. The beautiful earth tones and Sgraffito or relief carved textures detailing a faux-bois (wood-like) or organic pod style in earthy brown matte slip body contrasted by a smooth, green glazed interior.
If you are a Mid Century pottery/ceramic collector, this is definitely a piece you will want to add to your collection. Or if you or just looking for a unique piece for your well appointed design space, this is definitely a piece to have. Similar in style and finish to works of Mid century Ceramicists like Cressey and Maxwell as well as Stan Bitters.
The planter in its entirety is in excellent condition.
