A Neoclassical-style coffee table featuring a stunning book-matched flame mahogany top that creates a mirrored cathedral grain pattern. The rectangular top is beautifully framed by an inlaid satinwood border, complete with rolled bolster edges along the lengths. Each side is accented with an elongated satinwood reserve showcasing delicate floral and foliate marquetry inlay.
The table's structure is supported by a curule base (X-frame) with elegant legs that end in tightly scrolled feet. The intersections of the X-frames and the terminals of the scrolls are accented with floral rosette mounts. A turned central stretcher runs the length of the base, ensuring both structural stability and historical accuracy to classical Grecian and Roman design forms.
