Mid-20th Century Danish Buffet attributed to designers Aksel Bender Madsen & Ejner Larson (said to be for Georg Jensen). Approximate date of manufacture 1958.
Left side of 3 shelves is enclosed by a sliding Tambor Door with brass handle. (Unique door that folds in hidden compartment. Extraordinary!)
Right side has 4 drawers with D-shaped brass pull handles.
Condition is very good with minor wear and tear. Well-oiled and protected.
Note: The piece does not display any signature or design label, but was a reliable purchase was from Weinberg Gallery, New York. January 2003 - see Inventory description by Weinberg.
