A striking, oversized (30 \times 40 inches) vintage watercolor and tempera painting on authentic woven silk, rendered in the classic imperial court style of Giuseppe Castiglione (Lang Shining) and produced by Tai Ling Studios. This mid-century piece captures an elegant garden scene showcasing two vibrant bluebirds nesting among lush, sprawling pink and crimson peonies while a detailed swallowtail butterfly flutters nearby. The lower right corner carries the artist's traditional replicated court signature and seal. Features exceptional provenance, originally sourced through the historic Newburgh Galleries in Evansville, Indiana.
Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition. Please note that this panel has sustained faint vintage water staining along the bottom margin (visible in photos). The color vibrancy remains outstanding. Perfectly suited for framing behind a mat board to entirely conceal the lower margin blemishes.
