Inspired by the marine drifters of the same name, the set of 2 Plancton Pendants from Karman gives your rooms an otherworldly feel as a wondrous form. This emotional design reflects creator Matteo Ugolini’s curiosity about nature, both land and sea. A key to the world’s ecosystem, planktons coast across the world, leaving us with bountiful oxygen. Ugolini recreates their feathery qualities through an artful fiberglass shade. Floating in the air with a fine cord, the dome shade crowns your room with a soft texture. A textured border on the perimeter adds to its feathery, artisanal quality. With a single bulb nestled inside, the pendant produces a filling down glow with a comforting ambiance to match.

These pendants were custom made and were briefly hung (2 weeks). The top cord has been cut to size and they are ready for installation. The lights are beautiful in any setting, and bring a refined and elegant uniqueness to the space. Shade interior has a rough texture while the exterior has a smooth texture, with a matte white finish. See less
