The two figures are believed to represent close friends who struggled with addiction to PCP, also known as “angel dust.” Through bold brushstrokes, vivid colors, and a stark black background, Basquiat conveys a raw sense of chaos and movement, reflecting the intensity and destructiveness of drug abuse. Printed on premium Monte Carlo 300gsm watercolor paper by St Cuthbert’s Mill, unframed and in very good condition, it will be shipped securely in a sturdy cardboard tube See less
