A wonderfully expressive folk art painting by Rebeca Fuchs (initialed RBK), this charming work depicts a large black sow with full udders grazing in a lush green meadow scattered with polychromatic wildflowers rendered in joyful dotted strokes. A pale blue sky crowns the scene. The composition is direct and confident — the pig presented as a true portrait subject, full profile, anchoring the frame with quiet authority.
Titled “Sumba Dream” and executed in oil on wood panel, the work is signed in the lower left and additionally signed, titled, and noted as to medium on the verso. Presented unframed and wired for hanging.
