Add warmth and historic character to your dining room or home office with this exceptionally crafted vintage extension dining table. Built from premium solid wood showcasing a striking, active cathedral grain pattern, this piece features a rich, warm amber-cherry finish that beautifully highlights the natural beauty of the timber.
The silhouette balances rustic charm with refined elegance, anchored by four classic French Country transitional tapered legs that subtly flare at the feet. Underneath, the table features robust, traditional wooden extension tracks and robust corner-block hardware, proving its high-end structural integrity. While the original expansion leaf is not included, the table closes completely flush, functioning perfectly as a stately 4-to-6 seat dining table or a beautiful, spacious writing desk.
Condition:
Very Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, Some Wear / Imperfections.
Condition Notes:
Structurally magnificent, rock-solid, and incredibly heavy. The wooden extension glides smoothly. The finish on the legs and apron is exceptionally clean as shown in images. The tabletop is in very good vintage shape with a beautiful luster, though it features a few small, localized spots of clear craft glue that have bonded to the surface finish and have been left as-is to preserve the surrounding patina. These are strictly cosmetic surface blemishes and do not impact the structural integrity of the wood. This has been a lovely table in our home, very sturdy, but also beautiful and functional for the periodic use it endured. We would take it with us as we downsize our family home, but there's no room for it!
