Bring authentic Mexican heritage to your kitchen or living space with this stunning vintage Barro Verde (Green Clay) Cazuela. Hand-thrown by skilled artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico, this traditional cooking and serving vessel features a vibrant, deep green glaze and a distinctive scalloped rim.
It is as much a functional culinary tool as it is a striking piece of rustic folk art. An authentic Mexican pottery, showcasing unique, one-of-a-kind variations of green throughout the pottery. Oaxacan Barro Verde pottery features the famous rich green glaze characteristic of Santa María Atzompa folk art. This piece has dual-handled design with sturdy, built-in handles, scalloped rimming with beautifully pinched wavy edges.
Made from Natural glazed clay (Barro)
Origin: Oaxaca, Mexico
Usage: Perfect for serving dry goods, acting as a stunning centerpiece, holding berries, or displaying on a kitchen shelf.
Because these items are individually handmade by folk artisans using ancestral techniques passed down through generations, pinpointing an exact year without a maker's stamp is difficult.
