A pair of life-size forearms, carved from wood, originally part of a 19th-century religious processional image. Executed with great realism in carved wood, they feature a stucco base upon which the polychrome paint is applied. Wear has given them a beautiful patina.
At the base of each forearm, tenons carved from the wood itself are visible, designed to articulate and fit onto the rest of the figure's arm.
