Originally introduced in the late 1980s, the Atlas table effortlessly blurs the line between functional furniture and fine art sculpture. The piece features a sweeping, 19mm-thick concave curved tempered glass top that beautifully plays with ambient light. It is anchored by four monumental, hand-sculpted legs. Each leg is meticulously constructed from 19 distinct layers of 19mm-thick glass, hand-cut, stacked, and fused to create a textured, crystalline, glacial aesthetic.
Because the glass elements are hand-sculpted, no two Atlas tables are exactly identical, making this a truly unique addition to any high-end interior. Its transparent footprint allows it to anchor a room visually without overcrowding the space, making it perfect for minimalist, postmodern, or contemporary living areas.
