A very interesting small vintage tray
Seemingly carved from a single piece of exotic cumaru wood aka Brazilian teak, flat and long. It could be a serving piece or just a tray for pens, whatnots or other trinkets
Antique pieces of textile are displayed under two rectangular glass windows, framed in .950 sterling silver mounting
The pattern is striped, woven in red, black and beige, a fragment in the style of the ancient Chancay culture, circa 1200-1450 AD, later absorbed by the Incan Empire around 1465-1470 AD
The silver is marked "950"
Measurements: Approximately 12.5" x 3.5" x 1"
It weighs 14 oz.
