The table is constructed with a large thick plank top having breadboard ends set over a trestle base consisting of two large hourglass shaped leg uprights connected by a thick central stretcher having an exposed joinery. The trestle leg uprights rest on broad flat sled feet and are secured with mortise-and-tenon joinery, while the stretcher is attached with wooden peg key joinery. The table is finished in a bleached pale sandy tone, highlighting the open cathedral grain. Crafted in a rustic French Provincial country farmhouse style with a classic french profile.
