It is often inspired by rustic Mediterranean or Spanish architerual elements like gates and window grilles. Pieces are frequently used as statement wall art to provide an antique or dramatic focal point in entryways and living rooms. This one features 2 dragons and has rustic patina, reddish brown, or antique bronze "rusty" finish. This piece is dated back to the late 19th century (circa 1890) or early 20th century. (circa 1920).
