A stunning elliptical tray in glazed and acid-treated ceramic, entirely hand-molded and airbrushed, embellished on one side with a composition of stylized flowers on a branch. The piece features the famous "acid-treated" surface, or a rough, grainy texture (orange peel or crater effect). This experimental technique was developed by Dante Baldelli during his Umbrian productions to innovate the material's sculptural appearance. This ceramic tray, created by Dante Baldelli, is signed "Baldelli, Città di Castello, Made in Italy" under the base and is predominantly in line with the Art Deco (or Modernist) aesthetic of the late 1930s and early 1940s, moving away from the rigid dynamism of the late Futurist movement. The choice of raised botanical motifs, organic forms, and decorative stylization applied to an everyday object reflect the tendencies of late Art Deco. This piece has an attribution mark,
