An exceptional and monumental wall sconce by the renowned Italian design house Vivai del Sud. Handcrafted in woven rattan with brass fittings, the sconce takes the form of a stylized tropical leaf, a signature expression of the organic modern aesthetic that defined the company’s work during the 1970s. The finely woven shade radiates from a slender stem and conceals a brass light fitting, creating a warm and atmospheric illumination. Combining sculptural presence with natural materials, this rare piece exemplifies the sophisticated craftsmanship and exotic influences for which Vivai del Sud became internationally recognized. In very good vintage condition. Minor signs of use. One small damage on the top of the leaf. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
