One of the all time classic British … Read more 1940’s Pel Tubular Burgundy Metal Upholstered Dining Arm Chairs – Set Of Six. One of the all time classic British chairs inspired by the contemporary designs of Bauhaus. The most famous producer in England was PEL, but several other manufacturers produced the same design. These chairs are from the 1940’s, they are original PEL chairs most of which have the makers label, they are a very rare arm set with a very unusual original arm design we rarely see, stunning chairs. The chairs are in great condition for their age, most of the upholstery is in pretty good condition although as typical for chairs of this age the original foam has all but gone. One chair has a bad rip on the seat fabric which we have done our best to repair. Our workshop services and rejuvenates each chair before they leaves us.
