This is a vibrant and colorful oil on linen painting titled ‘Infamous Facades’ by listed Chicago artist Molly Schiff (1928-2018) circa 1960.
She received a BFA, an MFA, and an MAAE from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, including postgraduate work there and at the Institute of Design (IIT), Chicago.
Her artwork has been exhibited at the Loyola University Museum of Fine Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Illinois State Museum, Art Heritage Gallery in India, the Spertus Museum, the Balzekas Museum, the Freeport Art Museum, the Chicago Cultural Center, the University of South Carolina, Stanislaus State College, and the United States Arts in the Embassies program.
She was a member of the Arts Club of Chicago, the Chicago Society of Artists, the Artists’ Breakfast Group, and the International Society of Artists.
