It does type, however the ribbon is faded and will need replacement for darker impressions (see pic). Keys function, but sometimes are a little "sticky" returning - the machine would benefit from cleaning and servicing.

Cosmetically, the typewriter shows signs of age, wear, marks, scratches, and accumulated dust consistent with decades of use and storage. Please note that approximately half of the right platen/cylinder knob is missing (see photos).

This typewriter will prove to be a wonderful display piece for writers, collectors, offices, libraries, film props, photography styling, or restoration projects.
