Rare glazed ceramic wall plaque depicting a stylized rooster, created by the Les Argonautes workshop in Vallauris in the 1960s by Isabelle Ferlay and Frédérique Bourguet.

This emblematic piece of the Vallauris ceramic revival is distinguished by its graphic design with Mediterranean and primitive influences. The rooster, rendered in a geometric and expressive style, is enlivened by a superb cobalt blue glaze contrasting with incised decoration in cream, green, and brown tones.
