The subject depicts a middle-aged man with a finely sculpted curly beard and mustache, and wavy hair with traces of gilding at the tips. The sculpted attire includes a jacket with lapels and a cravat with precisely rendered folds. The anatomical rendering is meticulous: the ears, wrinkles, and solemn expression attest to the quality of the craftsmanship. The bust rests on a circular base of gray veined marble, itself set upon a rotating column of dark wood.

Workshop report: some localized losses in the beard, wear spots on the marble surface, and a slight crack visible at the base. Surface cleaning is recommended. Sold as is.
