Substantial French Provincial oak armoire in the Normandy tradition, sourced and sold by Baltimore’s renowned Gaines McHale Antiques & Home (original invoice available). Solid oak construction with beautiful cathedral grain throughout, hand-cut dovetail interior joinery, original wrought iron escutcheons and turned spindle hinges, and a bold stepped cornice crown.
Interior was professionally converted at time of purchase by Gaines McHale to accommodate a computer armoire configuration, with added shelving and a pull-out work surface. Easily adapted for wardrobe storage, media, or home office use.
