Sourced from the prestigious Royal House Antiques in London, this monumental desk was originally crafted as a showcase piece to demonstrate the absolute pinnacle of a master cabinetmaker's skill. Each side features an identical, functional layout with three drawers and two cupboards, allowing two partners to work facing each other. The cabinet doors are adorned with incredibly detailed, historical 17th-century carvings displaying religious figures and architectural motifs. The writing surface is inset with a magnificent, deep oxblood red leather hide featuring elegant gold-tooled borders.

The desk splits into three sections for transport and is offered in excellent antique condition, having been professionally deep cleaned, hand-waxed, and polished. A breathtaking, irreplaceable investment piece for a world-class home office or luxury library.
