A slightly chalky-white rounded form with a narrow neck provides the structure for this stunning lamp's features. The cut-out geometric openings - circles, squares and rectangular apertures - are a signature feature of Pelletier's work, designed to cast dramatic light patterns when lit. The dotted surface decoration arranged in clusters is very typical of his style. The unrefined texture is also very much his aesthetic. And although this is one of his unsigned pieces, there is no doubt of its origins. Its lamp fitting is vintage and is currently wired with a French plug from that era. It functions perfectly and the wiring can be easily modified with a different plug for your location. It is in overall good condition consistent with its age and usage.
