Photograph documenting daily life in Havana, Cuba by renowned photojournalist Rick Hunter. This work features a closeup of a classic car hood ornament in the shape of a bird. Signed by the artist in the front lower right corner. Currently hung in a complementary black frame with white matting. Other works from this series are also available.

Artist Biography: Rick Hunter was a self-taught photographer who started his career in 1987 as an Army photojournalist at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. He went on to become a staff photographer for the San Antonio Express-News for nearly ten years covering events such as Mexican presidential elections, U.S. naval operations in the Adriatic Sea, conditions in Cuba, Day of the Dead celebrations across Mexico and Holy Week festivities in Guatemala. Hunter's long-term projects included portraying youth gangs in San Antonio and capturing images of the back roads of Texas and New Mexico. Other projects include work from Paris, India, the Texas/Mexico borderlands and the American Southwest. Before returning to his native Texas in 1991, Hunter worked freelance in New York City for such clients as New York Newsday, The Hartford Courant, Young and Rubicam, Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the U.S. Army Reserve and the Associated Press. Hunter went on to work freelance for clients including: The New York Times, American Express, MCA Records, AT&T, Jack Daniels, the San Antonio & Tourist Bureau, Luby's, singer George Strait, Hollywood Records, Jose Cuervo, clothing designer Susan Dell, The Los Angeles Times, CBS News, RJ Reynolds, Southwestern Bell and Tecate Beer and Taco Cabana. Hunter was regularly published in national publications; he won numerous awards; and has been honored by organizations including the Texas Headliners Foundation, the National Press Photographers Association, American Photo Magazine, the U.S. Army and Army Reserve, Metro Photo Magazine, Life Magazine Elsie Awards, the Japanese International Sports Foundation, The Dallas Press and University of Missouri (Pictures of the Year). Hunter's works have been exhibited throughout Texas as well as New York City and Mexico including more than 30 one-man and group exhibits. Hunter was represented in regional galleries and design firms in Texas and New Mexico and his images are part of many private and corporate collections worldwide. Rick Hunter passed away Nov. 8, 2013.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
