This elegant set has been fully restored to a beautiful standard while carefully preserving the age, patina, and original character of the chairs. The old finish has been stripped back and the frames have been traditionally French polished, allowing the warmth of the timber and the natural depth of the grain to come through without losing the charm of their Victorian age. The seats retain their original leather, which has been professionally hand dyed, giving them a rich, characterful finish with wonderful depth and variation. The leather shows the charm and texture expected from age, while the restoration has brought the set back to a highly presentable and usable condition.
