These are rare as a matched pair.

The glazed ceramic bodies display the deeply luminous copper-red reduction glaze that made sang de boeuf ("ox blood") porcelain among the most prized of all Chinese ceramic traditions, perfected in the imperial Qing dynasty kilns. Each body features the characteristic fine pebbled surface texture and tonal variation from deep crimson to near-black, along with subtle relief-carved floral and bamboo branch decoration — a hallmark of quality above plain monochrome examples.

At 15 inches in height (body only) and 4.5 inches at the widest point, these lamps strike a perfect balance between presence and versatility — ideal for bedside, console, or library placement.
