The artist is renown for his naturalistic wildlife subjects. The frame measures approx 16" x 17" and is 1.5" deep. The painting alone measures 11"12". Condition is excellent/pristine, no damage noted.

Kalfke exhibits include "Birds in Art", held at the prestigious Leigh Woodson Art Museum in WI where he had six exhibits. In addition he has had multiple exhibits across the county and was named Artist of the Year by the Ruffled Grouse Society in 1993.
