Beautiful vintage Famille Rose porcelain bowl with matching spoon set, Chinese and Hong Kong Export, circa mid-20th century, (1960s - 1970s) China and Hong Kong. A beautiful set (bowl and spoon) to use for soup, rice, or other cuisine for everyday use or entertaining. The set features classic Rose Medallion–style figural panels, floral reserves, and bright enamel detailing in pinks, greens, and gold, classic Hong Kong export. Each hand‑decorated in Hong Kong during the mid‑20th century. An authentic example of mid‑century export Famille Rose, ideal for collectors or for adding a touch of traditional Chinese decorative art to a modern table setting.
The underside bears the markers' mark and workshop code, a designation used by Hong Kong decorating studios in the 1960s–1970s for export porcelain. During this period, Hong Kong artisans commonly hand‑painted Jingdezhen porcelain for the U.S. and European markets, producing richly colored, highly decorative tableware such as this.
