A delightful vintage bone china teacup and saucer from Hudson & Middleton's beloved "Flower of the Month" series, representing the month of July with its birth flower, the forget-me-not. The exterior of the gently rounded, footed cup is decorated with lush botanical sprays of blue and lavender forget-me-nots with deep green leaves, rendered in fine detail against a cream-white ground. The interior features a green scrollwork border along the rim and the word "July" written in elegant gold script, flanked by a small forget-me-not sprig. Both the cup and saucer carry the same forget-me-not botanical motif and the characteristic green scrollwork border, trimmed throughout in gold along their scalloped rims. The backstamp on both pieces reads: Hudson / Middleton / Est. 1875 / Fine Bone China / Made in England / H & M Ltd.
