We wanted to capture the striking essence of a classic New York skyscraper but translate that cold, imposing geometry into a warm, tactile medium using natural timber.

Constructed entirely by hand in our studio, the lamp is built around four soaring fins of solid Ash wood. To emphasize its dramatic height, we precision-milled three continuous, dark Walnut inlays down the outward face of each fin. These are not painted lines; they are solid walnut strips painstakingly fitted into the lighter ash. At its core, an exposed, tall, tubular vintage filament bulb sits nested on a solid dark wood base. When lit, the amber glow filters through the vertical slats, casting incredible, structured, architectural shadows across the room.
