One of Beata Heuman's most beloved and recognizable designs -- and nearly impossible to find on the secondary market. The Dodo Egg Lantern features a clear egg-shaped glass shade housing a cluster of lights, crowned with an extraordinary antiqued solid brass feathery plume. The handmade chain -- a sequence of tall narrow hoops connected by small rings -- is threaded with a twisted caramel cord that's as beautiful unlit as it is on.
Handcrafted in England in patinated brass and glass. US wiring. Three bulbs included.
Versatile in the best way -- formal enough for an entry hall, playful enough for a kitchen or bathroom. Provides great task lighting at full brightness and is absolutely magical dimmed.
