This vintage metal wall sculpture depicts three athletic figures in high relief against a wire mesh soccer goal frame. Composed of heavy cast metal and wrought iron with a raw silver-gray patina, the item features geometric, muscular forms characteristic of industrial brutalism and postmodern athletic realism. Unsigned but in the style of Frederick Weinberg, Curtis Jeré, and global mid-century firms specializing in architectural metal artwork from the postwar era. Amazing composition and execution. Great condition showing only minimal wear, patina commensurate with age - please see photos and video. One separated weld on the left side of the net frame. No structural issues. Display ready sculpture object.
