Sourced from a renowned antique market in Florence, Italy, this rectangular porcelain ceramic cigar ashtray features a striking, classic design. It is a beautiful piece of vintage porcelain that beautifully bridges French craftsmanship and Italian artistry. Crafted from premium white French Limoges porcelain, the tray features a deep, lustrous burgundy or oxblood red border framed by rich, heavy gold-gilt banding. At the center sits a beautifully stylized, hand-painted intertwined monogram in gold and delicate red linework. The underside bears the official "Limoges France" stamp alongside the artist's elegant, hand-signed inscription in gold script: "Dipinto a mano" (Hand-painted), dated 1997, and signed by the artist, Beatrice Menicossi.
Equipped with two wide, heavily gilded rests, this versatile piece functions beautifully as a classic cigar ashtray, an elegant catchall vanity tray, or a sophisticated desk accessory.
